  • Every church, pastor and leader is welcomed to partner with us and join our mission, even if not AG or credentialed. By AG constitution, voting membership is available for all Black credentialed AG ministers and any accredited AG congregation and it’s pastor with over 50% Black attendance.   • I. Individual Membership includes all ordained black ministers, or ministers pastoring a predominately black congregation (over 50% black) holding accredited fellowship certificates, accredited licensed to preach, specialized ministries license and certificates or ministry credentials from District Councils.

    II. Church Membership- Predominately black congregations that are affiliated with the Assemblies of God may be members. Predominately black congregations are those congregations that have over 50% black membership.

    III. Friend of the NBF Member- Churches, individuals and organizations who may not meet the individual and church membership criteria, but share the values and vision of the NBF and are located in, or are committed to transforming the lives and landscape of urban America. We welcome your partnership.

  • Your NBF membership allows you access to a network of Black Pentecostal fellowship of churches and ministers that are committed to transforming people, places and resourcing, advocating and empowering you to navigate the AG at the National and District Level.

    • Membership with the NBF will provide a place for you to be welcomed in friendship and mentorship as you navigate within the AG.

    • As a member of the NBF you are invited to vote on critical issues that steer the direction of the organization, as well as have an opportunity to be elected to hold office.

    • Need help with credentialing, advancing inclusion or dealing with church or personal issues? The NBF is positioned to assist you with these important facets of AG leadership.

    The NBF helps in the credentialing process by:

    - Assisting those that are seeking ordination and licensing by offering mentorship through the evaluation process

    - Providing tools to help better equip ministers to serve their congregations and communities effectively

    - Becoming prayer and intercession advocates

    The NBF also helps to advance diversity in ministry by:

    - Assisting ministries in learning intentional practices to raise Blacks and ethnic leaders

    - Providing access to a directory of qualified black and ethnic leaders

  • Business meetings are held at each REACH Conference or when officer terms expire.

  • The NBF National Conferences are an opportunity for individuals, churches and friends of the NBF to come together to fellowship, learn about national efforts for revitalizing, mobilizing and engaging communities and people. Our conferences also include practical tools and strategies for addressing pain points in urban cities, city tours and networking opportunities.
