Introductions

The Assemblies of God certainly is experiencing the favor of God as we are now represented by 44% of ethnic minorities (non-Anglo).  We also celebrate the 24 Ethnic Fellowships that are included in the General Presbytery of the AG.  We are beginning to look more and more like the Church in Revelation 7:9.  “After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands.”

There are many pastors and churches in our fellowship that desire to reflect this diversity in their pastoral staff and leadership.  As a result, I receive numerous staff inquiries for referrals of qualified and interested (Black) African, Carribean and African American candidates. Most recently, several are looking for Executive Pastors, Worship Pastors, Lead Pastors, Youth Pastors and Adult Ministries Pastors.

Would you be willing to share with me what your needs and goals are – regardless of your ethnicity?   This will be helpful as I talk to pastors/churches who seek to become more multi-ethnic and diverse. I will keep the information confidential if you choose to participate in the survey and contact you privately to see if you would like to be referred for any pastoral staff openings.

Together, we can advance God’s kingdom for His glory.

Thank you.
